TT Neutrons 0.5-10 MeV

For a 0.5 – 10 MeV Neutron Generator:

Covered Reaction Chamber

1T3 + 1T3 -->2He4 + 2n (with a near uniform spread of neutron energy from ~ 0.5 to ~10.0 MeV)

Total neutron yield is expected to be 2-4 times that of the equivalent DD neutron generator. To be confirmed soon.

If 14 MeV neutrons are problematic for your application (too much background, expensive shielding) and 2.5 MeV is not enough neutron energy then consider a TT neutron generator.

Industrial TT Model
  • ~ 1x108 n/s with an electrode of at least 125mm
  • Longer line source neutron emission zones are feasible
